Today was a sad day in the Hansen family. Around 9 in the morning Lorraine called to tell us that Grandma Mary had passed away. She fell and broke her hip earlier in the week and wasn't able to recover after surgery. Tim was pretty sad because this is the first loved one he has lost in a long time and this brought back my memories of my grandmothers passing in December. We spend almost the whole day at his parents house with Rich, Lorraine, Devon, Heather and the boys. It was nice to be around the family and just spend time together. The services are going to be later on this week and everyone is sad to see her go but we are all thankful that she isn't suffering anymore. Tim and I are also happy that she knew our secret before we meant to tell her. Grandpa Rich told her and after her Birthday Party a few weeks ago Tim and I were taking her home and all she could talk about was how excited she was and happy she was for us. Even though she wasn't supposed to know it makes us a little less sad knowing that she had at least some happy news to keep her company before her passing. We are going to miss you Grandma Mary!
