A weekend with the Collins boys..

So this weekend we spent time with our wonderful nephews Gavin and Derek. Heather and Jeremy cashed in their Christmas gift and headed off to San Diego for a fun filled weekend with no kids. They left their two kids with Auntie Devon and Sarah and Uncle Tim and Dave, this was our second year taking care of the boys and now that they are much older and calmer we were excited :) We decided to venture out of the house and take the boys to Johns Incredible Pizza and if you haven't been their it is like Chuck E. Cheese on steroids. The boys got to enjoy a nutritious dinner filled with all sorts of yummy food and played games and rode on the many rides. Although the place was crowded it was a great chance for the boys to run wild and have a good time. Even though we were only there a few short hours everyone including the adults were pooped at the end of the night. Devon and Dave were nice enough to let Tim and I come home and sleep in our own bed, being pregnant at this time had its perks. On Sunday morning Tim drove back up and helped Devon and Dave until they had to leave to go back to San Diego. We wanted to Heather and Jeremy to enjoy there time away so we had Tim, yes Tim watch both of the boys by himself. I think he figured that he should get some daddy practice while he can. He even took the boys to Carl's Jr. with no major accidents or temper tantrums. I must say that I was so proud of Tim for taking on that job and I know we were all happy the boys made it home in one piece. Although the weekend was fun and exciting for all, Gavin and Derek sure know how to tire out adults, Kudos to Heather and Jeremy and ahh this is what my life is going to be like in a few months.
