Tim got a new toy!

Well after putting it off for awhile now, Tim broke down and decided to go look at new cars. Now I know that I just got a new car last year but Tim has been driving my old Malibu. The good husband that he is gave up his Ford Ranger last year to use as a down payment for my car, and what does he get in return my wonderful Malibu. Thank heavens that he only has to drive 2 miles a day to his vanpool because it helps us not only with gas but also from having two car payments. Well the Malibu is on its last leg and we know with the baby coming he is going to need something a little more reliable. Plus this last year we have driven my car everywhere we go so the miles are adding up. Not that we need to worry about miles but we felt it was time for him to get a car. So on Friday we were just going to look at the Dodge Ram and Toyota 4Runner. Well we decided to go to Toyota first because we knew the fleet manager. We got there around 11 a.m. and looked and test drove the 4Runner we both liked it of course but then we had to play the number game which is usually confusing to me and heartwrenching for Tim. After wheeling and dealing for what seemed like eternity we signed on the dotted line again and purchased our second new car together. At 5:00 p.m., yes that was the time we drove our new car off the lot and home. As Tim is telling everyone, our baby isn't even born yet and he is already costing us money!
